Our family farm in Downing, Missouri, is built on five generations of farming excellence, bringing a legacy of quality and care to every cut of beef. Founded by Doug and Dee, and sustained by their family, our operation reflects a lifetime of dedication to raising livestock to the highest standards.

Today, we are proud to offer premium Angus beef known for its unmatched quality and flavor, made possible by Brinkley Angus' top-tier genetics and carefully managed nutrition programs. Dustin and Chandler lead our breeding, nutrition and herd management, ensuring the finest marbling, while Breanna and Khelcie oversees our USDA-certified processing facility, guaranteeing each cut meets the highest standards. From pasture to plate, our cattle are raised naturally, calves are raised on grass and when weaned are fed a complete daily ration using forage and grains raised on our farm.

At Ruth Family Farms, quality begins long before harvest — and our processing facility is where that dedication comes full circle. Located just 20 miles from where our animals are raised, our family-owned facility was built in 2020 with a singular focus: to deliver beef so exceptional, it meets the standards of the Midwest’s top chefs.
Because our cattle are raised nearby and handled with care, they never experience long transports or stressful environments. That low-stress approach isn’t just better for the animal — it results in more tender, flavorful beef you can truly taste.
